According to customs statistics, China imported 2,705 tonnes of toluene diisocyanate (TDI) in October 2022, with an import value of US$4.98 million and an average price of US$1,843/tonne. The import volume increased by 35.20% month-on-month and 84.73% year-on-year.

In October 2022, a total of 26,267 tonnes of TDI were exported from China, with an export value of US$65.06 million and an average price of US$2,477/tonne. The export volume increased by 2.16% month-on-month and decreased by 2.30% year-on-year.In terms of export destinations, China’s TDI exports to Russia reached 4,506 tonnes in October, and hit a record high, which took a 17.10% share. From January to October, China exported 25,408 tonnes of TDI to Russia, which is the largest export destination this year.

From January to October, China’s TDI exports totaled 273,560 tonnes, and the annual export is estimated to remain above 300,000 tonnes.
